Advanced Ring Fit Tips
-
Wide bands (β₯ 2.5 mm): They feel tighter. If you are between sizes, choose the larger size or go up by half a size.
-
Stacking rings: For 3+ slim bands, many clients prefer half a size larger for comfort.
-
Knuckles larger than the base: Consider a comfortβfit band or sizing up ΒΌβΒ½ size so the ring can pass over the knuckle but still sit securely.
-
Engagement & wedding sets: Size your engagement ring first for everyday comfort, then match your wedding band to that size.
Bracelet Size Guide
Whether you love delicate chains, tennis bracelets, or bold Cuban links, the right length should feel secure while allowing natural movement.
How to measure your wrist
- Wrap a flexible tape measure around your wrist where a bracelet normally sits.
- Write down your wrist circumference in inches or millimeters.
- Add 0.5 in for a snug fit, or 0.75β1 in for a comfort/loose fit.
For bangles & cuffs
- Bring your thumb toward your little finger.
- Measure around the widest part of your hand (over your knuckles).
- Choose a bangle size slightly larger than this measurement so it can slide on and off.

Need Help Choosing Your Size?
What if I am between two sizes?
For most pieces we recommend choosing the larger size, especially for wider bands and bangles. For slim, stackable rings you may prefer the smaller size for a more secure feel.
Can my Picasso Gold & Diamond jewelry be resized?
Many of our gold and diamond rings and some bracelets can be resized. Contact us with the style name or a photo and we will confirm what is possible and provide a quote.
How do I choose a size for a surprise gift?
Try to borrow a piece they already wear on the same finger or wrist and measure it, or ask a close friend or family member. When in doubt, choose a slightly larger size or an adjustable design.
Do different metals or settings affect fit?
Heavier, wider designs and comfortβfit interiors can feel different from slim bands in the same size. If you know your size in a very thin band, you may prefer half a size larger in a wide statement ring.
Still unsure? Our specialists are happy to help you choose the right size for any Picasso Gold & Diamond piece.
