Your first diamond doesn't have to be your last. Trade in a diamond you bought from us and get the full original price as credit toward a bigger one, for as long as you own it.

How the credit works

Your diamond Upgrade to Minimum new diamond price Example
Natural diamond A natural diamond 1.5 × what you paid for the original diamond Paid $4,000 → choose a $6,000+ natural diamond and pay the difference ($2,000+)
Lab-grown diamond A lab-grown diamond 2 × what you paid for the original diamond Paid $1,500 → choose a $3,000+ lab-grown diamond and pay the difference ($1,500+)

Credit is based on the price you paid for the diamond itself. Settings, metal, labor, taxes and shipping are not part of the credit.

How to upgrade

  1. Tell us what you have

    Send your order number and, if your diamond came with one, its grading report number. Chat with us, email info@picassogolddiamond.com or book an appointment.

  2. Pick your new diamond

    Browse loose diamonds online or compare stones side by side at our showroom.

  3. We verify your original

    Our gemologist checks that the diamond is the one we sold you and that it has no chips, cracks or damage.

  4. Pay only the difference

    Your credit is applied, we reset the new diamond, and it ships to you insured.

Program terms

  • Available to the original purchaser with proof of purchase from Picasso Gold & Diamond.
  • The diamond must be returned in its original condition with any grading report it came with. Diamonds that are chipped, cracked, re-cut or treated after purchase are not eligible.
  • Upgrades are like for like: natural to natural, lab-grown to lab-grown.
  • Each new diamond can be upgraded again under the same terms, using what you paid for it.
  • Credit can't be exchanged for cash and can't be combined with other promotions on the new diamond.
